How do you feel about the cost of training? After my first few months of selling my services for a fee I heard these statements multiple times… “it’s just too much” or “I can’t afford it”. I started to believe myself that the service was overpriced, especially for the region that I was in.
Why wouldn’t I think that? I worked for a corporation that also had facilities in very affluent areas like Avon and Glastonbury, where the median household income dwarfed that of the town we were in. Why would our price be the same as theirs?
Soccer, baseball and basketball were my sports growing up. Soccer was my favorite and still is. I played year round. I loved the social interaction and running around with my friends. I learned a lot in those years about hard work, dedication, sportsmanship, camaraderie and much, much, more.
I moved when I was in middle school and never really made it back to recreational sports. I made the basketball team for my middle school, but broke my arm and had to quit. When I went to high school I made the varsity soccer team, didn't like the coach and quit.
Tomorrow marks a very special day for A|M Fitness, it is our one year anniversary!
So much has happened over this past year. A|M Fitness has changed from a dream, to a reality, to a community, to a family. Friendships and bonds have been forged. Goals have been fulfilled. And all of these remarkable feats continue to grow.
I would like to take a few moments to go through the creation and past year;
One of the most common questions I get asked is “what does A|M stand for?”
